Pitt to Rebuild Bones and Muscles

The University of Pittsburgh Medical School was given a nice $12 million gift to help treat damaged bones specifically for wounded war veterans. Part of the money also goes towards researching ways to rebuild muscle tissue. Here is the article in the Pittsburgh Tibune-Review.

The Pitt School of Medicine continues to be one of the very best in the country and this money for continued research proves that fact. It makes me proud to say I'm a Pitt alum (even though I didn't have anything to do with medicine when I was in school).

I'll be very interested to hear the results from their research in the next two years.
